The "Expecting" website and you.This website, found under the www.expectingmaternity.co.uk URL, is operated by Expecting and references to "we", "us" and "our" shall be deemed to be references to Expecting. References to "you", and "your" shall be deemed to be references to person placing an order via this website.

We do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site only to store non-sensitive information.
Placing an order.
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms, then you should contact us before placing an order with us either by telephone on 01904 466511, by email at: info@expectingmaternity.co.uk or by post at Expecting, The Courtyard, 40 Gillygate, York YO31 7EQ.
By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Expecting to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.
Once you have placed an order an email will be sent to you to confirm that your order has been received, but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Expecting for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you.
Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed. This does not affect your statutory rights. If any item is out of stock we will contact you immediately.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see the delivery times and charges.
Your right to cancel
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of despatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full.
Returns policy
If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen, you may return them to us within 7 days of receipt as specified in by the DTI's Distance Selling Regulations. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange (either a different size, colour or style/item) or, if you wish, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging. We reserve the right to make reasonable deductions for the original postage & packaging costs and your refund will be made immediately on receipt.
Returning goods
For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. We will only refund the costs of postage where the item returned is faulty. All returns are the responsibility of the sender and we advise that they are sent "signed for" with appropriate insurance. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please send goods back to:

UK Delivery
Stock permitting, all orders are usually despatched within 24 hours of being accepted. In the event that an item is out of stock, we will notify you immediately. If you are ordering lingerie, please allow up to 14 days for delivery. We offer a large range of bra sizes and most of them are kept in stock but unfortunately we sometimes sell out of certain items. If you need an item of lingerie urgently, please contact us prior to ordering to see if it is immediately available to send.
When you complete your order form you will be given five different UK P&P options; please choose either the one that you require or that applies to your order:
Royal Mail 2nd Class Post over £20 order: £FREE.
Please allow 3-5 working days for your delivery.
Royal Mail 2nd Class Post under £20 order: £1.95.
Please allow 3-5 working days for your delivery.
Royal Mail 1st Class Post: £2.95.
Please allow 1-3 working days for your delivery.
Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Monday - Friday by 1pm: £6.95.
Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery on Saturday: £8.95.
NB. If your order is under £20 & you do not choose the Royal Mail under £20 order option, please be aware that we will automatically charge you the £1.95 P&P fee when we process your order.
Overseas Delivery
All overseas orders are sent via Royal Mail Airsure. This ensures that your items are sent on the next available flight and receive priority handling. This service takes into account packages up to 1kg in weight. If you are only ordering a small item such as 1 item of lingerie or 1 top, please contact us prior to ordering for us to provide you with a more appropriate postage cost.
Europe (inc. Republic of Ireland): £11.95

Payment and taxes
We accept online payment via your PayPal account or via our merchant provider Cardsave by debit or credit card . Cardsave offer the latest 3D security along with the highest levels of certification (PCI DSS Level 1). So your card details are in very safe hands! We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Maestro (Switch). All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EU then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 17.5%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

Gift vouchers are available to buy instore as gifts in any denomination of your choice.
